Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.

Property Access

  • The road leading to the home is paved, but the driveway is a 0.2-mile single-lane gravel road that is shared by two properties.
  • There may be additional renters staying at Skytop Chateau At Summit Of Beech during your stay. Please be respectful of their enjoyment of the property.

Policies and Rules

  • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Children allowed.
  • No events allowed.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.

Fees and Payments

  • Pet policy: The property listing states up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (dogs not to exceed 50 pounds each) are allowed with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. However, the property data indicates a maxPets allowance of 99. Please confirm the maximum number of pets allowed before booking. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.

Parking Information

  • Free parking is available. The driveway is a 0.2-mile single-lane gravel road that is shared by two properties.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Self check-in/check-out is available.
  • Kitchen is equipped with cooking basics, utensils, dishwasher, toaster, stove, and kitchen basics.
  • A "starter set" of paper products is provided: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Towels and linens will be provided.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.
  • Chalet does not have air conditioning. (Note: Climate control is listed in the amenities, but not specified as air conditioning. Please confirm type of climate control if important.)
  • High-speed internet, TV, and smoke alarm are provided.
  • Carbon monoxide detector is provided.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • Travelers visiting during the winter months (November-March) where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

Additional Amenities and Memberships

  • Guests of the home have the option to purchase a temporary membership to Beech Mountain Club during their stay, subject to availability. Club usage transfer is not guaranteed. Please inquire for details. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance.

Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments.
  • Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.
